Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective date: 7 September 2026 · Last updated: 7 September 2026

HAMS Technology Ltd (company no. 10165409), a company registered in England & Wales — “CostGlass”, “we”, “us”.

These terms govern your access to and use of the CostGlass platform. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of your organisation.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between HAMS Technology Ltd (“CostGlass”) and the organisation you represent (“Customer”, “you”). If you do not have authority to bind your organisation, or you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Definitions

  • Service — the CostGlass web application, APIs, connectors and related documentation.
  • Customer Data — data you submit or connect, including cloud cost, usage and resource metadata.
  • Users — individuals you authorise to use the Service under your account.
  • Order — your selection of a subscription tier through the Service or an order form.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for your Users' actions and for safeguarding authentication credentials.
  • Account owners and admins may invite, assign roles to, and remove Users.
  • The Service is for business use by organisations and is not directed at consumers or children.

4. Subscriptions, fees and billing

  • Paid tiers (Starter £99/mo, Growth £499/mo, Scale £1,499/mo, and Enterprise as quoted) are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring monthly basis unless an Order states otherwise.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Fees are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.
  • We may change fees on at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.
  • Feature availability is gated by tier as described in the Service.

5. Connecting your cloud accounts

The Service accesses your cloud, Kubernetes, LLM and SaaS accounts through credentials or roles you provision. Access is read-only by default. The only write capability is the optional Instance Scheduler, which starts and stops compute you explicitly schedule; you enable it knowingly via the onboarding template parameter and can disable it at any time. You are responsible for the permissions you grant and for maintaining your own cloud backups and configurations.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access the Service other than through the supported interfaces, or probe, scan or test its security without authorisation;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the Service to a third party except your own Users;
  • upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, or data you have no right to provide;
  • interfere with or place undue load on the Service, or circumvent usage limits or tier gating.

7. Customer Data and privacy

As between the parties, you own Customer Data. You grant CostGlass a licence to host, process and display it to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where CostGlass processes personal data on your behalf it does so as your processor.

8. Intellectual property

CostGlass and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, models, service mappings and design. We may use aggregated, de-identified data that does not identify you or any individual to operate and improve the Service.

9. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms, except where disclosure is legally required.

10. Service levels and support

We aim for high availability and provide support by email at [email protected]. Enterprise Orders may include a separate service-level agreement. Current status is published on the System Status page.

11. Warranties and disclaimers

The Service provides estimates and recommendations (including cost figures, anomaly scores and savings suggestions) for informational purposes. You are responsible for validating them before acting. Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided “as is” and CostGlass disclaims all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Each party's total aggregate liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees paid or payable by you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Term and termination

  • These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service.
  • Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice.
  • We may suspend access for non-payment or for use that risks harm to the Service or others.
  • On termination your access ends and Customer Data is deleted per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy. You may export your data before termination.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where they significantly affect you, notified to account owners. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or statutory rights.
